What Wyatt Kohl Music collects, stores, sends to service providers, and uses to operate the website, provide media features, maintain security, and respond to visitors.

Media playback and equalizer

YouTube videos play through YouTube's embedded player. The Media page uses playback state for its cassette animation; its YouTube-mode spectrum and faders are decorative and do not access, measure, or alter YouTube audio. YouTube handles playback data under its own terms and privacy practices.

When authorized native Wyatt Kohl Music audio is available, the seven-band equalizer and spectrum analyzer process that audio in the visitor's browser. Audio is not sent to a separate equalizer service. Track delivery may use the site's private, signed media endpoint and generate ordinary hosting access logs. Equalizer settings are applied for the current page session and are not transmitted or saved by the equalizer feature.

Echo timestamps

When an Echo is submitted, the site records the submission time in UTC and the timezone reported by the submitting browser. The public Echoes feed and authorized moderation views use that saved timezone to show the author local date and time, including daylight-saving changes. For older Echoes submitted before this timezone field was added, the original timezone was not recorded, so those entries continue to use the site timezone.

Employee-only OBS launcher notice

This optional desktop launcher is available only to authorized employees using the authenticated Command Center. If OBS is not found, an employee may choose to consent to a local search of mounted internal or external drives. The scan runs on the employee device; the website does not receive or store search paths or results. The launcher does not request drive passwords. Full details are in the authenticated Employee Privacy & Security notice. This section does not apply to public visitors.
